Bridgewater Estate

A five-acre Sanaa-designed estate set behind a stand of cedars. Three pavilions, a 30-metre lap pool, and the Atlantic at the end of the drive.

Designed by Sanaa for a private collector, Bridgewater Estate is composed of three connected pavilions arranged around a central water court. The main house is a 12,400-square-foot study in restraint: pale European oak, board-formed concrete, and a colonnade of slender steel columns running the length of the entry. The lap pool is 30 metres of black-bottom Pietra. The Atlantic is a six-minute walk through dune grass.
